The Center of Excellence in Co-Occurring Medicine (COE) continues to expand. COE is an outpatient psychiatric and addiction clinic. We have a 25 hour per week position that will lead to full time. This applicant will join our growing team of patient care coordinators. We are looking for someone with a CNA certification in Oregon. Our outpatient clinic located in Beaverton, Oregon, provides compassionate care and evidence-based treatment for patients with mental health concerns and addictions. We also see patients through telepsychiatry.
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs delegated clinical and administrative duties within the supervising psychiatrist’s scope of practice consistent with the CNA’s education, training, and demonstrated competency. This includes taking and recording vital signs, medication management, assisting with scheduling, preparing rooms, sitting in on psychiatric evaluations and assisting providers when instructed. In addition, the CNA assists in maintaining the practice environment in a clean, orderly condition. Functions as an integral member of the team by contributing to new ideas for improving customer service and reducing costs. Provides high quality customer service to both external and internal customers that meet or exceeds the service standards of the health care industry. This duty includes prompt and professional communication efforts, face-to-face patient contact skills, flexible coverage of internal service needs and the continuous application of process improvement methods and skills for office services. Strong computer skills are a must. This position will be working with multiple EHR systems.
